We take no chances when it comes to the health and safety of children. Which is why we use the strictest standards for our sourcing and manufacturing processes. We avoid ingredients that have any hint of doubt from the scientific community, like melatonin. Melatonin levels have an impact on how the ovaries and testes function. Researchers from the Mayo Clinic concluded that further study is needed to determine if taking melatonin during childhood or the teen years can have an impact on a person's sexual development. So we don't use any melatonin in any of our formulas, because the science just isn't clear yet. We've applied these same strict standards to all of our sleep formulations for bath and bedtime.
